Curry Classes in The Curry Cave!

We’re back! Would you like to take a tandoori class in the curry cave and learn some amazing recipes and cooking techniques?

Or perhaps you would like to take my vegetarian street food class… (Please get in touch to schedule a date.)

Come join me at one or both of my cooking classes. They are a lot of fun and you won’t go away hungry.

The curry Guy Tandoori class

These curry cooking classes are fun and hands on!

The Tandoori Class

Morning session

You will learn about spices and how to roast and grind your own amazing spice blends.

You will learn two marinades which we prepare in the class. 

Learn how to make seekh kebabs which actually stay on the skewer! These are so good.

Learn to make curry house style naan dough. This recipe can be made in minutes and tastes just like those you get at the best curry houses. 

We cook marinated chicken and lamb in the tandoor and you will also cook as many naans in the tandoor as you could possibly eat. So much fun!

Lunch

After a morning of marinating, cooking and nibbling, lunch is served. You will get to eat everything you just made. Refreshments are served.

Afternoon session

After lunch we go back to the curry cave to discuss base sauce and prepare two curries which you get to take away with you.

Vegetarian Street Food Class

Although these used to be scheduled classes, it was the tandoor class which most people wanted to attend.

I love holding the street food classes. You will learn to make dosas and chaats. So many chaats! 

If you would like to make authentic dosas like a pro and also learn to make some of India’s most popular vegetarian food, this is the class for you. 

Please contact Caroline on 07919 497420 if you would like to schedule a group lesson. We can schedule you in on weekdays and Sundays. 

If the Saturday tandoori class date is available, you could also schedule a veggie class on a Saturday. Minimum class size is four people. 

 

 

Making seekh kebabs

Making seekh kebab skewers takes some practice but you’ll leave a pro!

We can also schedule in other dates by request.  

All classes are subject to a minimum number of three attendees signing up. If the minimum number is not met, we will inform those who have purchased a place no later than 10 days before the class, and will offer a full refund, or a place at an alternative class of their choice.

Cancellation Policy for Cooking Classes

If you unfortunately need to cancel your place on a class, we will do all we can to reschedule you onto another class. You will not be eligible for a refund unless your place can be filled by another person.

Although it is highly unlikely, we do reserve the right to cancel a course due to circumstances beyond our control. In this case, a full refund will be made.

Allergies
Please let us know if you are allergic to certain ingredients and we will try to accommodate you. Please note that these classes are not recommended for people with nut allergies. Many of the ingredients used have been produced in places that contain nuts.
